The town of Lossiemouth boasts a harbour for pleasure craft as well as
fishing boats. There are two superb beaches, two 18-hole championship
golf courses, and extensive recreational facilities including tennis,
putting, bowling, and sailing. The surrounding area offers a wide
variety of attractions and is especially noted for its malt whisky
distilleries which are open to the public. There are numerous
buildings of historic interest and architectural beauty together with
breath-taking scenery and exhilarating walks.
